根據1家美國電視台釋出的片段，在巴西奧林匹克公園，有幾位孩童在奧林匹克五環裝飾附近玩耍，並碰觸五環，結果造成其中一部分脫【博客來手作服/布作小物推薦書單】落。

此奧林匹克五環原先放置在英國紐卡索的【博客來名廚/美食家傳記推薦書單】泰恩橋，該地為2012倫敦奧運足球比賽場地之一，後來當局將此環捐贈予里約。

後來有穿著阿根廷足球衣的成人出現，試圖幫忙將黃色環脫落的部分裝回，但不確定是否成功。

奧林匹克五環設計於1913年，象徵世界五大洲團結。
